The U.S. Department of Education (US ED) has recently released awards for Title III Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP) grants. The purpose of these grants is to help eligible institutions become self-sufficient and expand their capacity to serve low-income students by providing funds to improve and strengthen academic quality, institutional management, and fiscal stability.

TPMA’s Evaluation Team has been working with clients who have received US ED Title III grants for several years – evaluating several institutions’ grant-funded programs that have received Part A and Part F funding and, in some cases, writing the evaluation plans that were included in the grant applications. TPMA’s work on these projects typically includes a mixed-methods evaluation to help grantees obtain the information they need to make real-time improvements that could expand the institution’s capacity to serve their students.

TPMA takes a collaborative approach to all our projects, working closely with the client so that evaluation findings are useful and practical, and has found this approach to be of particular value in US ED-funded projects. With US ED grants recently awarded, TPMA would be excited to work with you on the evaluation of your Title III grant-funded programs/initiatives.

Please contact Laura Waldman, Director of Evaluation, at lwaldman@tpma-inc.com to learn more about how we can help you evaluate your recently funded US ED Title III SIP grant.
