TPMA is a national leader in evaluation with distinct approaches including logic models and evaluation design, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, reporting, and assessments of program implementation. Our evaluation experts are currently working with Bozeman city officials to conduct a city-wide data collection process on racial and socioeconomic inequity, conduct a gaps analysis of services to address inequities, and develop a set of equity indicators that will allow the City to establish a baseline and track change over time

“When reading the RFP, we were impressed with the City’s commitment to community engagement, data-informed decision making, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.  We are excited to come alongside in their equity efforts and to gather insights from the community to understand the gaps that currently exist. TPMA is excited to help take this step with the City of Bozeman to understand the current needs and develop indicators so that leaders can take data-informed actionable steps to make a lasting impact on the Bozeman community,” says Joely Pope, Consultant at TPMA who will be leading community engagement.

In June of 2020, the City of Bozeman conducted an internal equity review that resulted in 24 recommendations to further diversity and representation of the community. TPMA’s data collection processes of identifying and characterizing inequities will build on and inform those recommendations.

“We are very excited about the team TPMA has brought together for this project,” says Dani Hess, Neighborhoods Program Coordinator at the City of Bozeman. “Our selection panel was looking for a firm with experience in data collection, community engagement, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion both internally, and in the work they do with communities. TPMA will be a fantastic partner in bringing together diverse perspectives and datasets to guide our efforts to make Bozeman a more inclusive and equitable place for everyone.”
