Analysis
Onsite Engagement. Assest mapping. Quantitative Research.

We utilize a variety of techniques and approaches including interviews, focus groups, and input sessions to understand assets, challenges, and opportunities for our clients. By working on-site, we gather important qualitative data and anecdotal insights to do not appear in traditional data sets. Additionally, we work to identify ‘champions’ early in the planning process that can coordinate strategies for implementation.
We catalogue the unique strengths and capacities of organizations, institutions, initiatives, and leaders within a geographical area. This provides a comprehensive profile of what is currently available to build and expand upon. We shy away from ‘cookie cutter’ strategies for our clients. Our focus is on customized solutions by building assets through innovation and knowledge.
We collect and analyze economic data and labor market information to understand the characteristics of an area’s economy, workforce, and population. This establishes a baseline for on-site engagement and plan development. We work with publicly available and proprietary data sets to meet the outlined objectives of our customers. Our network of partners includes Monster.com and Economic Modeling Specialists Inc. (EMSI) who are able to provide accessible and real-time data valued by clients.
Cluster Analysis-- We conduct research to identify and/or validate industry clusters in an area and utilize findings to create a strategy to grow them. While many firms focus solely on creating ‘bubble charts’ and citing location quotients, we work to create a talent development network for each cluster linking employers with education, economic development, and workforce development.
