Strategic Research & Analysis
 

Research is a diligent inquiry or examination in seeking facts or principles to which TPMA takes an enhanced and innovative approach. TPMA team members have an extensive background in both primary and secondary research. TPMA consultants customize their research methods to outlined objectives and listen to their customers’ needs.

 At TPMA, we work nationally with clients to collect and analyze data to provide strategic guidance to community, education, business and government leaders to promote economic growth.

 We are committed to utilizing the most up-to-date, real-time data available to ensure our clients are developing the right solutions, not what the US Census recommended nine years ago. The following techniques and data sources are utilized in our projects to gather strategic intelligence:

  • Stakeholder Interviews:  one-on-one meetings with key leadership to gather information on current issues such as hiring needs, skills gaps, emerging opportunities, and regional challenges and threat

  • Facilitated Strategy Sessions:  small group sessions with individuals to define regional assets, challenges, and opportunities and work to develop strategic options for addressing them

  • Surveys:  developing standardized surveying tools to gather public input for a large segment of an area, utilizing nationally recognized partners as needed
     
  • Proprietary Data Sets:  working with nationally recognized partners to obtain real-time data such as information on job postings/resume traffic and employer data
     
  • Publicly Collected Data Sets:  collecting most recently released data, avoiding shortcuts to provide best available insights to our clients
