20, 1989 With a strategic focus
on the integration of
workforce and economic
development strategies,
Thomas P. Miller and
Associates (TPMA)
officially launched as a
business with two
contracts. The first
contract was with the US
Department of Labor and
the second contract was
the Hancock County
Economic Development
Council.
1989 Thomas P. Miller and
Associates undertook new
strategic direction of
expanding beyond
Indiana.
Summer
1990 Dr. Dan Miller
was hired
as first employee.
2002 Thomas P. Miller and
Associates strategic
grant writing services
reached $50,000,000 of
grant funds secured for
clients.
October
2002
Thomas P. Miller and
Associates was named an Indiana Growth 100 Awardee by Indiana
University Kelley School
of Business’ Johnson
Center for
Entrepreneurship and
Innovation. Purpose of
the award is to
recognize Indiana’s
leading high potential,
high growth companies.

2003 Thomas P. Miller and
Associates received the
2003 Mira Award for
Professional Service
Provider. The purpose
of this award is to
highlight the importance

the Indianapolis
